N2  - Dieses Konspekt behandelt in erster Linie die Startbedingungen der dritten Phase des Wettbewerbs Zukunftsstadt (initiiert und gefördert vom BMBF) in Gelsenkirchen im Hinblick auf die Genese des Bildungskonzeptes „Zukunftsbildung“. Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung, Global Citizenship Education, Partizipation und sozialraumbezogene Bildung bilden dabei wesentliche Bezugspunkte. Zunächst wird die historische Entwicklung des Gelsenkirchener Begriffes und seiner Bestandteile nachgezeichnet, resümiert und mithilfe einer anschlusssuchenden Literaturrecherche theoretisch vertieft bzw. nachgeschärft. Im Anschluss daran werden sowohl die Reallabore, als auch die untergliederten Bausteine (auch Reallaborexperimente genannt) beschrieben, d.h. das Setting der dritten Phase, und damit das Praxisforschungsfeld näher beleuchtet und ein Zwischenresümee hinsichtlich „Zukunftsbildung“ im Kontext der Praxisebene gezogen. Außerdem wird der geplante Forschungs- und Entwicklungsprozess aus Sicht des Forschungsbereiches „Zukunftsbildung“ dargestellt, um im Anschluss ein Gesamtfazit zu ziehen und einen Ausblick darauf zu geben, woran der Begriff „Zukunftsbildung“ und seine mögliche dynamische Weiterentwicklung in Gelsenkirchen zu orientieren ist.
N2  - This prospectus primarily deals with the starting conditions of the third phase of the "Zukunftsstadt" (initiated and supported by the BMBF) competition in Gelsenkirchen with regard to the genesis of the educational concept "Zukunftsbildung". Education for sustainable development, global citizenship ed-ucation, participation and social-space-related education are key points of reference. First, the historical development of the Gelsenkirchen concept and its components is traced, summarized and theo-retically deepened and sharpened with the help of a literature search. Subsequently, the real labs as well as the subdivided components (also called real lab experiments) are described, i.e. the setting of the third phase, and thus the field of practical research is examined in more detail and an interim conclusion is drawn regarding "Zukunftsbildung" in the context of the practical level. In addition, the planned research and development process will be presented from the perspective of the research area "Zukunftsbildung", in order to draw an overall conclusion and provide an outlook on what the term "Zukunftsbildung" and its possible dynamic further development in Gelsenkirchen should be oriented towards.
