Sachsenring (B): the resurrection of Sachsenring Automobiltechnik AG

  • This is the second of a two-case series (300-037-1 and 300-038-1). This case describes the development of Sachsenring Automobiltechnik AG, the successor of Sachsenring Automobilwerke GmbH between 1993 and 1997. The successful turnaround of the company is highlighted. The company's strategy, its management style and the high motivation of its workforce are identified as the key success factors during the turnaround.
