Leading open innovation
(2013)
The book Leading Open Innovation describes OI’s search for smart people who might expand the space for innovation. It reflects international, cross-sector, and transdisciplinary interests among contributors from the United States, Germany, France, Finland, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Tunisia, Austria, and China working in large multinational organizations, academic institutions, or entrepreneurial projects. They are part of the Peter Pribilla network, which Ralf Reichwald describes at the end of the volume as a point of contact that supports overlapping interests in innovation and leadership. _x000D_ More details including reviews and buying options are available at: www.leadingopeninnovation.de
It is easy to be paralyzed by the possibilities and responsibilities of academic work or distracted into one fascinating alley after another without cumulative insight. Even when well underway too many scholars sink into necessary details and do not complete the less iiting tasks that are required to engage the attention of others. The book addresses efforts to avoid these and other pitfalls. It is written especially for those early in their careers who must quickly master the basic mechanics of research and publication if they are to succeed as academics, and for those who try to assist them.
